HOLIDAY PARTY LOOK

Processed with VSCO with s2 preset

Christmas is next weekend? WHAT! It is! One of my favorite holidays is here and I think I have to start playing dress-up for Christmas day.
This year I’m feeling festive but I’m also feeling tres chic. I’ve decided to go on burgundy as one of my favorite winter colors and knock it out of the park with a color-block light pink. The tone of this pink blazer is just out of this world, come meet me to my planet (If you know the Timbaland ft. Nelly Furtado song).
I absolutely love how this combination looks like. The two-toned vest matches the two-toned socks perfectly. I also thought it would look classy if I added some brown monk shoes to the look and wear something I’d never worn for you guys in the blog. You guys, I’m wearing A TIEEEE! Yes! I wore a tie for the first time in the blog (I believe so). I never wear ties but it’s not because I don’t like them, It’s because I feel that men can also look classy and modern without wearing their neck tight. However, this black simple-slim tie matched perfectly and ofcourse a white shirt below because all the focus needs to go to the burgundy-pink combo.
TIP of the week: Get your color-block game on (Burgundy is the choice) and don’t be afraid of using your grandpa’s or your vests while styling that preppy look with an edgy accessory like these sunglasses to make it casual chic.

LEATHER LIKE AN AGENT

Processed with VSCO with s2 preset

Hey Guys!!
I’ve got news! I’ve been recruited by the CIA to style their new special squad for the holidays! (All jokes aside). I really felt like an agent/spy wearing this full leather look. I mean, look at this biker jacket, it’s so cool!
I wanted to do a proper full-black look with my boots, but I wasn’t sure of it. I know when you come to New York people say “you will wear black a lot, like A LOT”, here is an example of what they mean. This jacket has an asymmetrical design and the cut end looks amazing. I love everything about it. I stole this leather cap from my cousin as some of you might remember from my Instagram stories, styled it all together and I instantly felt like I was on my first mission. Check those Dior sunglasses,  they make the outfit so bold (I’m a bad boy moment). I’m obsessed with it.

EMBROIDERED STATEMENT JACKET

Processed with VSCO with s2 preset

Hey Guys!!
I found myself looking at embroidery for this holidays in the fall-winter collection and also for next year’s spring-summer, it seems like this is an ongoing trend for 2017. In the previous post I told you guys I had found a gem in my cyber monday shopping. This is it! I found a denim jacket with floral embroidery that looked so hot! The best, it has a fleece collar and warm cover within, perfect for this season.
When wearing a statement piece like this, it is a good tip to keep all other outfit pieces neutral to help this one stand out more. I went for a camel-khaki look with a turtleneck, famous acne skinny ones and my dolce sneakers. However, as you can see I added some more of a splash in the sunglasses I chose to pair it with.
As men, we used to be so afraid of adding patterns and designs to our shirts in the past, we saw how this floral print became a trend in them and everybody felt comfortable using it. Now, it’s all about the denim jacket, it’s always good to carry around a classic one, but this, this is a trend alert. You can use it for a night out, a day in the city, an event like I used it for, and don’t be afraid to repeat it with other looks!
I say it’s also a unisex piece, and no I didn’t find it in the female section! I’ll add the links to shop my look down below so check it out.

WINTER COATS

Processed with VSCO with s2 preset

Hey Guys!!
It’s been a busy week and holidays are almost here. I feel that it’ll start snowing at any time soon, probably like next week. After Cyber Monday and the previous blog post I’ve been shopping and looking for coats online.
There are many different styles of coats, for example trench coats, parkas, overcoats, peacoat, among others. I’ve collected a few of my top coat picks from different brands and shopping sites that I actually frequent for you guys to have options for this winter. I hope you guys like the options I’ve gathered down below the post and remember you just have to click on the images and it’ll take you to the actual link where you can shop them.
As for this look, I got this amazing black and grey overcoat from Asos on Cyber Monday and paired it up with some light blue slim-fit pants I had not worn from Scotch & Sod, and under this look I wore a secret sheer jacket that I will soon be revealing as my most precious purchase during these seasonal sales.
Hope you guys enjoy it, remember to send me your picks through Snapchat or Instagram as I love seeing your taste!

GRANA: MONGOLIAN CASHMERE

Processed with VSCO with s2 preset

Hey Guys!!
I’ve partnered up with GRANA to showcase some of my favorite picks from their Mongolian Cashmere collection. Truth be told, It’s been so cold in New York this week that I was so excited when I found out we were partnering together for one of their cashmere collection. I love cashmere, specially one with a great quality that doesn’t itch myself to death. Funny thing, lately I’ve been wearing almost four layers to go out during the day, not looking fashionably at all but only worrying about feeling warm.
When I tried on their Mongolian Cashmere I fell in love instantly, everyone was dying with cold and I was just smiling and feeling comfy.  It’s good to know a little of their history in cashmere. It all began when one of their representatives took a trip to inner Mongolia, home of the cashmere, and breeded special goats that not only have a thick coat of long hairs to keep us warm, but also “an undercoat of fine downy fleece”.
Their work in creating a high quality but comfortable cashmere is what got me interested. However, it wasn’t until I tried their turtleneck that I said, ok this is good stuff! I always have this problem with cashmere turtlenecks where they have a thick feel and it gets uncomfortable for me after a while. When I was wearing Grana’s I felt so light and comfy, like if I was wearing my PJs but looked incredibly classy and ready to go out.
Honestly, I felt like my look with Grana resembles actual comfort in a classy and chic look. At the end, if you just see what I’m wearing it is a simple cashmere jogger, turtleneck and a cardigan, yet it looks amazing, I even wore it to a broadway show (Which I fell asleep for 10 minutes)! And I happen to be wearing it tomorrow for Thanksgiving, don’t blame me!
If you’d like to know more about Grana’s cashmere you can shop the look below and use my code “CPXGRANA” for a 10% discount and free shipping worldwide on your purchase!
