 Hey Guys!!
It’s been a great week. It feels like every day I’m more hyped and passionate about what I do. I was asked to do an interview for a magazine back in the Dominican Republic. One of the questions was, what differentiates your style from other fellow Dominican Influencers? As I state in my “About” section, I started this not to compare myself or my style with other bloggers but to inspire more young guys and girls to follow their dreams no matter what social mental barrier they have to break. I might be writing a blog post soon about my journey so far in the blogging industry and how it was to come from the Dominican Republic to the United States with a dream.
This post came to my mind specially because I tend to use some of my seasonal pieces over and over again on different seasons. I remember buying this blue buttoned-down type of polo in summer when I came to New York for July’s fashion week. I came up with one of my favorite fresh and clean preppy looks some of you might remember. Recently, I went to club monaco because it was getting colder and I needed some corduroy pants, and sweaters in my closet. I found these beautiful neutral options and I thought, these would look great with my buttoned-down that I used in summer, why not incorporate both seasonal pieces and create a perfect wearable look for fall?
So this came up! I loved how I can showcase the tone of the sleeves and the neck of the polo-vest perfectly when I’m layering it up. It looks so good buttoned down, and so it does too fully unbuttoned. I encourage you guys to try it up for yourselves, combine your seasonal pieces from summer or spring into layering for a perfect fall look and tag me in them!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, x.
